Morris Public Library presents Aotearoa /New Zealand: Myths and Legends, Thursday, May 16, 6:30 PM
Enjoy an in-depth talk about the beautiful nation of New Zealand (known to the Maori as Aotearoa, meaning “land of the long white cloud”). Our very own library assistant, Miss Stephanie, will take you through some of the myths and misconceptions held about her homeland, while discussing some traditional Maori myths and other Kiwi legends and icons. There will be no shortage of picturesque images of Aotearoa, as well as tips for anyone planning their travel to the Antipodes.
