Spring Break – Hands On Drumming with Craig Norton, Morris Community Hall, Friday, April 19, 1 PM
Hands on Drumming will take you on a musical journey, playing traditional songs from around the globe, creating our own rhythms, taking turns leading and experiencing improvisation, creative movement and dance. Participants will practice many positive life skills including respect, leadership, teamwork, cooperation, listening and communication as well as experience musical and cultural awareness. Everyone gets a drum to play.
Recommended for ages 5+.
About Craig:
Craig Norton has been facilitating drumming events throughout New England for over 25 years. He recently completed the 3rd year of Social Emotional Learning in The Arts through the national RAISE training program. His events provide opportunities for positive life skills that go beyond the music the audience plays.
